What is ecstatic dance?
In 2013 Ecstatic Dance Den Haag emerged from a U-lab course at Den Haag in Transitie (DHiT). Since then there were monthly to twice a month dance events. Ecstatic Dance Den Haag has been formally established as a foundation (Stichting Dance Events Den Haag) in 2016.
What can you expect?
Opening ceremony
Our host will take you through a short series of exercises to loosen your body and meet your fellow dancers.
Dancing journey
Let yourself loose on the dance floor as our fabulous ecstatic dance DJ takes you on a musical journey.
Closing ceremony
Wind down and relax after your dance. Make new friends.
Pracitcal information
Bring comfy clothes and a water bottle. Our events are often sold out, so purchase your tickets on time.
Guidelines
We dance barefoot. No talking during the dance. No photos or video. Respect yourself and each other.
